Spam Emails are becoming more clever and it's often hard to tell the fakes. It has been brought to our attention that spam emails have been sent associating with ASHFM and staff.
Here's how to tell if our email to you is genuine:
Click the drop-down arrow in the address area of the email in order to reveal the email address and name of the sender. All emails from ASHFM are from our official domain (). If it is an unknown address, or address ending in anything other than @ashfm.ca it did not come from us and is actually a BOT/spam email.
If you have received an email like this, please mark as spam so that your email provider can dispose and block accordingly.
If you believe that your email address could be the culprit for sending out spam, the safe and fast solution is to change your email password. At this time, none of the ASHFM email addresses have been compromised. All confidential ASHFM information, including your personal information, is completely safe and is not stored on our @ashfm.ca accounts.
If you have any other concerns about internet security, contact your service provider or domain.
