Event Coordinator

Location: Alberta Sports Hall of Fame and Museum, Red Deer Alberta.
Dates: Full time; effective immediately

The Alberta Sports Hall of Fame & Museum Society is a registered charitable society, located in Red Deer, whose vision is to be leaders in the province and country by protecting and sharing Alberta's sport history.

The Event Coordinator is a member of the ASHFM team who reports to the Managing Director and is accountable for coordinating the Induction Banquet, golf tournament, other special events along with building sponsor relationships, and grant writing.

Qualifications
A minimum of 3 years experience in planning/coordinating large events and working with volunteers. Must have excellent organizational, written and verbal communications skills. Excellent interpersonal, facilitation, consultation and conflict resolution skills. Proficient computer skills. Attention to detail. Experience with marketing and a sports background an asset.
