Wamsley, Kevin B. "Power and privilege in historiography: constructing Percy Page." Sport History Review. Vol 28, No.2. (1997) 146-155.

AB: Previous scholars, including Elaine Chalus, have used an 'add women and stir' approach to the social history of sport and women's place in it. Percy Page (1887-1973), coach of the highly successful Edmonton Commercial Grads women's basketball team, has been viewed as the focus of the team's achievements. The use of theory permits a better understanding of power relations and structures of gender and class and clarifies how the Grads truly made sport history.
