AB: An autobiographical account of Alberta Sports Hall of Fame & Museum inductee and legendary captain of the Calgary Flames, Lanny MacDonald from his time in Craigmyle, Alberta as a youth, through the start of his career with the Toronto Maple Leafs and finally his triumphant return to Alberta to play with the Flames in 1981. This resource provides a unique look at Lanny's life in a period just between his team's disappointing playoff loss to the Canadiens for the 1986 Stanley Cup and just before their impressive 1989 win. Topic covered include not only his professional hockey career, but also his role as a father, his work with charities and even a chapter dedicated to his iconic mustache.
