AB: This is the autobiography of the William "Wild Bill" Hunter, a 1988 inductee into the Alberta Sports Hall of Fame and Museum best known for his long involvement in the hockey industry across Canada as an owner, promoter and organizer. This personal look back across his life explores his: childhood in Saskatchewan, service as a fight pilot during the Second World War, first years as an owner, work with the Edmonton Oil Kings, organizing the World Hockey Association, forming the Edmonton Oilers and later career with minor league hockey.
