Biography

Betty Stanhope-Cole is one of Canada's premier golfers and curlers. She has won over 29 Edmonton city golf titles and 13 Provincial Championships. In 1956, she won the Canadian Junior crown and in 1957 she won the Canadian Ladies' Open. She has been a provincial team member in 25 Canadian Championships. She was a member of the Canadian Commonwealth Team in both 1963 and 1971 and of the Canadian World Team in 1964, 1974, and 1976.

Betty Stanhope-Cole skipped three Alberta Championship Curling Teams. Her team placed second in the 1978 Lassie and has won 13 Zone and Edmonton Championships.
